The practice first opened in January 1933 in No. 4 High Street, Chesham, when Mr Turner and Mr Browning joined forces to combat the bad eyesight of the people of Chesham and surrounding areas.
The two gentlemen parted company just before the second world war and Mr Turner returned to practice in Amersham.
Mr Browning continued to practice at No.4 before finally retiring.
The new owner, Mr Lewis steered the ship between the early fifties to 1981 when my father took over.
Dad took early retirement to Dartmouth and passed the reins to me in 2000.
The practice has survived because of the people over the years that have used us - we try to return that favour by providing you with our
time, knowledge and experience to ensure that you get the maximum out of your eyes.
